Grade beam is laid on top of the rubble trench |

| After laying the rubble trench foundation, we built a small concrete grade beam shown here. There is no concrete below ground. We built the forms and mixed all the concrete by hand. We laid 5 rebar throughout the beam for additional strength. The posts will stand on top of this beam. Jay and Linda are positioning where some anchors will be placed to hold the locust posts. |
